The Returbo x ShippyPro partnership empowers merchants

Automatic label generation

The moment a return is approved, Returbo calls ShippyPro's rate API, retrieves every available shipping option from your carrier connections, and generates the label — selecting the lowest rate when more than one carrier matches. No manual action needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Returbo and how does it integrate with ShippyPro?
Returbo is a third-party Shopify app for post-purchase request management that lets your customers self-register returns, exchanges, and complaints through an embedded form on your website. Once a request is approved, Returbo calls the ShippyPro API to fetch available carrier rates — based on your ShippyPro carrier connections and shipping rules — and generates the return label automatically.
How do I set up the integration?
Three steps:
  1. Copy your API key from the ShippyPro API page.
  2. In Shopify admin, go to Apps → Returbo → Settings → Integrations → ShippyPro, paste the key and save.
  3. For tracking, add a webhook once in ShippyPro → API: URL https://returboapp.com/shopify/api/webhook/shippy-pro/tracking-update/[YOUR-DOMAIN], event "Tracking Update", retry count 1, and an X-Auth-Token header (request the token at support@returbo.io).
Do I need to configure anything in the ShippyPro UI?
No. Once the API section is enabled on your account and the Returbo integration is active, no changes are required on the ShippyPro side. Prerequisites: Returbo installed on your Shopify store, your carriers connected in ShippyPro (e.g., PostNord, UPS, DHL) and configured for return shipments, and your shipping rules set up.
Is Returbo available for all Shopify plans?
Yes, Returbo is available for every Shopify plan. For details, see the Returbo pricing page.
Will my shipments be visible in both platforms?
Yes — return shipments appear both in Returbo and in your ShippyPro account, and every API call is logged in ShippyPro's API Logs section.
What should I do if label generation fails?
The most common causes: a product with no weight set (add it in Returbo from Request Submitted status), or a customer address issue such as an overlong address line or outdated postcode — for Swedish addresses, verify on hitta.se rather than Google Maps. If the error is related to ShippyPro configuration, Returbo shows a specific message: contact ShippyPro Support to resolve it.
Who do I contact for support?
For Returbo configuration in Shopify, workflows, interface, or billing: the Returbo Help Center and Returbo support. For carrier connections, shipping rates, label generation errors, or your ShippyPro account settings: ShippyPro Support.
